John Holley seconded the motion. The motion carried. ITEM # 2: Receiving of Reports : • AIRPORT ACTIVITY: Tower operations for March totaled 1,750, reflecting an increase over February but a decrease from 2022. March fuel sales totaled 65,713 gallons, again showing positive growth over February but a decrease from 2022. • FAA RUNWAY REHAB AND LIGHTING PROJECT: Work crews completed their final night closure of this project last week. There are a few small items to address, but we expect this project to finally be closed out within the coming days. The only long-term delay will be the transfer switch to the new light vault, which has again been delayed. • FUEL FARM REHABILITATION PROJECT: At this time we have no updates on this project. • AIRPORT MASTER PLAN UPDATE: The FAA sent notice they are actively working on our grant offer for this project. At this time we have not officially received the offer but expect it shortly. • WILDLIFE FENCE REHABILITATION: We have officially made it through the approval process with the FAA and completed the Certification of Funds internally. We will begin advertising for this project next week. • TAXIWAY ECHO EXTENSION: We hosted two FAA representatives earlier this month to discuss adjusting our Capital Investment Plan (CIP) in light of changes to this project. We have now pushed construction of this project to 2025 to allow for an Environmental Assessment to be funded later this year. • FUEL VENDOR RFP: The FBO’s contract with Avfuel officially expires this year, which means we are beginning the process of seeking proposals from fuel vendors. We expect to advertise the Request for Proposal this weekend. • Financial Report: • As of April 30th, 2023 the FBO revenue totaled $1,095,434.30 and the expenses totaled $1,034,073.04 for a total profit of $61,361.26. • There are no vacant T-Hangars with 100 people on the waiting list. One new hangar lease was signed in April. PAGE 2 OF 2 MUSEUM REPORT: Laci Prince emailed and stated Warbird Weekend went off without a hitch. Doc arrived 15 minutes early due to blue skies and perfect weather. We saw over 1,146 people over the weekend and raised a little over $26,000 to help get the museum's budget into a better spot. I would like to thank Doc and Monty for coming out for the event. Monty also volunteered at the event which was very helpful. Though he protested being a "bad guy" he protected the Jeeps in our second building with all of his might to keep the children and grown men of NWA from climbing on them. The Wings & Wheels Weekend went very well. We had over 80 cars show up for the event and 3 fly-ins. This event helped us raise a little over $2,000 for the museum. The Museum is actively planning Summer Camps. As of right now, the next major public event will be our fall Golf Tournament. More information to come soon.
