FROM THE EASTSIDE WATER STORAGE TANK ACCOUNT TO THE WATER SYSTEM
REHABILITATION/REPLACEMENT ACCOUNT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a budget adjustment, a copy of
which is attached to this resolution, transferring funds in the amount of $216,477.00 from the Eastside Water Storage
Tank account to the Water System Rehabilitation/Replacement account.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of a budget adjustment in the Water & Sewer fund to move $216,477.00 from the
Eastside Water Storage Tank account to the Water System Rehabilitation/Replacement account to fund water
system improvements.
BACKGROUND:
The Eastside Water Storage Tank project is complete, and the funds are no longer needed in that account.
DISCUSSION:
Staff requests a budget adjustment in the amount of $216,477.00 from the Eastside Water Storage Tank
account to the Water System Rehabilitation/Replacement account to fund general improvements in the City's
water distribution system.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Cost savings in the Eastside Water Storage Tank account will be moved to the Water System
Rehabilitation/Replacement account to fund water system improvements.

BUDGET ADJUSTMENT DESCRIPTION / JUSTIFICATION:
A budget adjustment is needed within the Water & Sewer fund's budget to move funds from the Eastside Water Storage
Tank account to the Water System Rehabilitation/Replacement account. The Eastside Water Storage Tank project is
complete and staff requests to move the funds to the Water System Rehabilitation account to fund water system
improvements.
