Board of Commissioners Regular Session
THURSDAY, JANUARY 26th, 2023, 5 PM

I. Call to Order
The Fayetteville Housing Authority Board of Commissioners Regular Session was called to
order on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at 5 pm via Zoom.
II. Roll Call
All commissioners were present. Also present were Executive Director Sherburne, members
of FHA staff, and members of the public.
III. Approval of the Agenda
The agenda was approved as presented unanimously.
IV. Announcements
Board Chair Terry expressed gratitude for meeting communication. She reminded the
commissioners to check out the trainings at HUD Exchange.
V. Consent Agenda
Meeting Minutes were approved as presented unanimously.
VI. Reports
A. FHA Chair Report - Board Chair Terry has been working with the office of City Clerk of
Fayetteville to list the two vacancies on the Board of Commissioners: Resident
Commissioner and Member at Large. She has also been working with Executive Director
Sherburne to identify appropriate trainings for commissioners.
B. Staff Reports – Executive Director Sherburne reviewed the status of the Public Housing
and PBRA properties. He went over the status of the Housing Choice Voucher programs.
He has been working with TPC to complete past due annual evaluations. His current
focus is completing the 2023 budget and reviewing an updated organizational chart. He
updated the Board on the audit and recommendations from the HUD Field Office.

VII. New Business
A. Resolution 1277 approving Executive Director Sherburne access to FHA bank accounts
and authorization for checks: Executive Director Sherburne reviewed the resolution.
Chair Terry made a motion to approve the resolution. The motion passed unanimously
and Resolution 1277 passed.
VIII. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 5:40 pm.
