Chair nominee — Will run meetings and make agenda suggestions. Knows Roberts Rules
Vice Chair Nominee- Will run meetings if Chair is not available.
4. Tree Protect — Board and Staff 2023 plans
• Gulley Park Pecan Orchard and Wayne Street — Plants are ordered and waiting for delivery to get
in the ground. 34 Trees
• Persimmon Blvd- Still planning, potentially 95 trees
• Happy Hollow Armstrong Road — Waiting on third bid. 45 trees
• Clarence Craft Park- Internal Reviews — Potentially 125 trees planting
• Vantage Drive — Plans complete and internal review- 30 trees
• Harmony Point Park- Internal Reviews -53 trees
• Great House Park- Out for bids — 19 trees
• Clabber Creek- Planning Potentially 10 trees
Fall Projects
• Lake Fayetteville- Planning, Potentially 130 trees
• Rodney Ryan new block — Plans done- 20 trees
• Rodney Ryan Re Savanna — planning, potentially 100 trees
• Owl Creek — Planning — potentially 75 trees
• Byari Park — Planning, reforestation- 50 trees
5. Projects updates -
A. Urban Forestry Management Plan Update. — They are working on final drafts and will send them over
for review.
