Mountain Members: Lacey Jennen, Chair; Samuel Adkisson, Vice Chair; Jim Parrish, John Crow, Ken Eastin, William Chesser City Staff: Sonya Morell, Operations Assistant; John Scott, Urban Forester; Melissa Evans, Urban Forester 1. Call to Order: Jennen called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. 2. In Attendance: Adkisson, Parrish, Crow, Eastin, Chesser Staff: Morell, Scott and Evans 3. Approval of November Meeting Minutes - UFAB Motion: Chesser made a motion to approve the meeting minutes for November, with the revisions discussed. Eastin seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0-0. 4. Stickers and shirts - Keep Fayetteville Shady- Staff met with communications S. Development - a. Code Resolutions. — Staff has not had time to work on any new changes b. Bond issues — changes internally after meeting with Kit and Blake 6. Tree Escrow Project- Board and Staff a. 2022 Plans — Staff — Wayne Street and Gulley Orchard, is projected to be completed in 2023 b. Potential Projects — Board planting locations • Eastin suggested north side of Cato Springs, between Town Branch and S School • Jennen suggested Fulbright Express Way where it ends on School Avenue 7. Project updates - A. Hose bib for Gulley Park, staff is still working on this and should be completed by the end of the year. B. Tree label program for 2022/2023 (Tree trail program) — Starting with Mexican Plum and American Holly on the Sequoyah woods Trail. Staff has meet with Charlie. C. Edible food tree labels. Color code — Nothing new to add D. Urban Forestry Management Plan Update — Survey to the public is going out within the next week for the public. Mailing Address: 113 W. Staff is working on Fall Projects: • Salem and Rupple Road — Met with sub -contractor to locate trees • Mt Kessler Park Tree Replacement — Done: work will take place in the next two months. A notice to proceed has been issued. Ramble — Plants to supplement the Ramble have been purchased and are being planted • 265 Tree Replacement — Information is gathered for this. 76 trees will be replanted in November 8. Adjourn - UFAB Motion: Crow made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Eastin seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0-0. Meeting adjourned at 4:59 pm. 9.
