* Public comment at a Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Control Board
meeting shall be allowed for all members of the audience who have signed up
prior to the beginning of the agenda item they wish to address. Speakers shall
be limited to a maximum of five (5) minutes. The Fourth Judicial District Drug
Task Force Control Board may allow a speaker additional time or may allow an
unsigned -up person to speak by unanimous consent or majority vote.

MEETING
November 16, 2022
MINUTES
A meeting of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Control Board was held on November 16, 2022.
Those present were:

Jay Cantrell, Chief Deputy- Washington County Sheriff's Office
Frank Gamble, Chief- Springdale Police Department
Chris Workman, Chief- Prairie Grove Police Department
Willie Newman, Fiscal Director- Fayetteville Police Department
Jacob Lawson, Sergeant- 4th Judicial Drug Task Force
Cara Murdoch, Administrative Assistant- 41h Judicial Drug Task Force
Jamie Fields, Deputy Chief- Fayetteville Police Department
Boyce Hamlet- Arkansas State Drug Director

Members of the public.
Captain Brad Renfro called the meeting to order. Upon roll call, the above -listed members were
acknowledged as present. Copies of the minutes from October 26, 2022, meeting were distributed to all
present. A motion was made by Jay Cantrell, and seconded by Frank Gamble, to approve the minutes. The
motion was approved unanimously.
A copy of the financial report for the Grant FY2021-2023 was distributed to all present for review, the period
ending October 31, 2022. Financial Director, Willie Newman, stated the total expense to date was
$156,005.00 which included State J23-004-DF $69,800.00, Local J23-004-DF $20,801.00, and Non-Allowed-
$65,404.00.
Sergeant Jacob Lawson reported on the task force's activity from October 1, 2022, through October 31, 2022,
and distributed a copy of statistics to all present. Lawson stated that in October the task force opened 29
cases, closed 20 cases, and made 9 arrests. Lawson further noted that $7,580.00 was expended for the
purchase of evidence, and $480.00 for the purchase of information. Lawson stated that drugs seized during
the month included: methampheta mine, marijuana, cocaine, fentanyl, ecstasy, and pharmaceuticals. Lawson
stated that 6 warrants were served. Also noted, were 6 drug convictions for September. The task force seized
$10,060.00 U.S. currency during the month. The locations of DTF Enforcement Action for the month were
Fayetteville 14 cases, Springdale 10 cases, Farmington 1 case, and Prairie Grove 4 cases.

Captain Brad Renfro requested a date and time for the next meeting. The next meeting will be on December
21, 2022, at 1:30 P.M. Washington County Sheriffs, CID Conference room, 1155 Clydesdale Drive,
Fayetteville, Arkansas. The meeting was adjourned.
