In regard to the proposed hotel and parking for the hotel, I feel the need to protest the
plan as providing insufficient parking for the hotel and Walton Arts Center as well as
the restaurants in the Dickson Street area. Parking is already inconvenient even with
the Spring Street parking ramp and the new ramp currently under construction. Those
that require handicap parking still have a long way to get to their destinations, whether
it be to the theaters or restaurants. I hope you will reconsider putting a hotel in the
proposed location which would make parking issues even worse for an already
crowded area. Thank you for your consideration.
