Hi
I’m writing in response to the proposal to build a boutique hotel on the south side of the civic center. As exciting as this
sounds, I am worried about the parking and the impact that would have on the Walton Arts Center and surrounding
restaurants. We frequent Dickson for all dining and entertainment and parking is already such a barrier. I can’t imagine
the parking being worse! We need to make it better! It sounds like local businesses nearby are trying to help make a
plan for the parking before anyone moves forward with the hotel construction.
I’m asking for the city to please step in and help navigate this parking situation so we can continue to make downtown
Fayetteville a fantastic place to visit.
