Dear Mayor Jordan and Members of the Fayetteville City Council, We moved to Fayetteville a little over a year ago and are so excited to be a part of this lovely community! We are particularly fond of the preforming arts and their accessability availabe to us in the entertainment district! We uderstand that a new 130 room hotel is intending to become a part of the area. This can be an exciting addition! However, the inadiquate parking (32 spaces the rest to be valet??) committment is quite disturbing. We retired to Fayetteville after 40 years in Dallas, Texas. Over the decades living there we saw great growth in many communities and areas of the city. The ones who did not incorporate adequate and accessable parking considerations quickly becme places we, and many others, did not frequant. It was just too hard and inconvenient. Fayetteville does not offer the luxury of multiple entertainment districts of a large city. But what we do have, are state of the art, especially for such a small population! We do hope the charm of our beautiful area does not become inaccessable to it's supporting residence due to additional parking frustrations! PLEASE reuire this hotel in particular, and all other incoming businesses to have a realistic parking plan with enough spaces firmly committed to before moving forward! The area and surrounding neighborhoods are already struggling with adiquate parking on a regular basis! Respectly, Mary Middleton 1
