It is not right what they r doing to the older citizens of this city. How do u expect us to do anything on Dickson street, if
parking is a mile away and in the snow. Has the city even studied the handicapped parking laws. Right now handicapped
parking is a long way from paid parking machines!!!!! I know a park would be lovely, but I’ve lived here since 1973, and I
believe that The area across from the Walton art center should remain a parking lot. If they make into a park, it will be
where street people and high school students hang out. These should not mix. Remember the drumming circle. Why is
that park closed? This is Fayetteville, not Bourbon or Belle street. Please don’t run it!! Enough!!
