Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. First, I would like to say I'm very happy that a new parking deck is being built to take the place of the West Street parking lot before that is turned into Civic Plaza, etc. I do worry about the Elderly and people with disabilities that will now have to walk farther than just across 1 street (West) to get to the WAC. They will now have to cross 2 streets (Dickson & West) to get to the WAC. I'm a subscriber to the WAC and go to a lot of things there that I enjoy very much. If the WAC wasn't on Dickson St. I wouldn't go anywhere near Dickson St. unless it was to eat at Rolando's. There aren't enough good places to eat on Dickson Street for people to be able to go in and sit down to order/eat. There still isn't enough parking down there either. If a Hotel & other places go in that Civic Plaza, then there really will not be enough good parking down there and certainly anyone that is elderly or handicapped will not be going down there because there won't be enough close good spaces to park for them. Can the parking for the future of Dickson St please be address and something concrete in place before anything goes into the new Civic Plaza? Concerned Citizen of Fayetteville, Kimberly Erstine 1
