Subject:Parking in the Entertainment District

Sirs: We are writing to comment on your current development plan for the Dixon St area, particularly the South End hotel
which appears to poorly address the issue of adequate parking for the area in general. As frequent patrons of the Walton
Arts Center and surrounding restaurants, my wife and I are concerned your parking plan will negatively impact our ability
to comfortably attend events and restaurants, decrease our plans to be frequent patrons, and needs further study.
Development without proper planning to fit the uses and needs of your citizens is not positive growth. Many growing cities
and areas have fallen into this trap and pay the price in the future. We hope you will relook at your plans and consider
adequate parking to be a cornerstone of any successful expansion.
Respectfully,
Bob and Pamela Raber
