Dear Council:
I’ve been reading with dismay about the proposed hotel at the lower end of the ramble. Apparently the developer plans
to put 134 rooms in the hotel, but only provide 45 parking spaces. There are several parking studies being done now and
I implore you to wait until all the studies have been received and analyzed before a decision like this is made. Parking
downtown is already critical for the businesses who depend on the availability of parking for their customers. If this
developer wants to build in the heart of our downtown area, it must be done with thoughtful planning about parking.
