Call to Order: Adkisson called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. 2. In Attendance: Adkisson, Parrish, Crow, Eastin Absent: Chesser, Jennen Staff: Morell, Scott and Evans 3. Approval of Minutes: Postponed to next month, quorum not met. 4. Clarence Craft Clean Up— November 6, 10 am — 12 pm. 5. Conference Report — John Attended Texas ISA tree conference in Waco TX. Follow up and share information with the board. 6. Stickers and shirts- Keep Fayetteville Shady- Postponed to next month 7. Celebration of Trees- Who will be there? we will be organizing this a little better. Maybe a walkie talkie to let folks we ran out of a specific plant. Last meeting before we have the event for this group. a. List is available. 8. Presentation — Hunter- Landscape Performance 9. Development - a. Code Resolutions. — Update from Staff and from board 10. Tree Escrow Protect — Board and Staff a. 2022 Plans — Staff — Wayne Street and Gulley Orchard b. Potential Projects — would the board like to identify potential planting project locations? 11. Project updates - A. Hose bib- The meter is set and backflow testing is almost done. This is done. B. Tree label program for 2022/2023 (Tree trail program) — Starting with Mexican Plum and American Holly on the Sequoyah woods Trail. — Nothing new to add, Mailing Address: 113 W. Urban Forestry Management Plan Update. — Survey to the public is going out, also they are taking GIS inventory. The internal survey was complete and they are now doing the inventory. E. Staff is working on Fall projects • Salem and Rupple Road — work will take place in the next two months. A notice to proceed has been issued • Mt. Kessler Park Tree replacement — Done: work will take place in the next two months. A notice to proceed has been issued • 265 Tree replacement- Information is gathered for this. 76 trees will be replanted in November. • Senior Citizen center Tree planting. In house trees are order payed for and will be delivered on October 11tn 12. Adjourn: UFAB Motion: Parrish made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Crow seconded the motion.
