Oppose Rezoning Appeal RZN 22-029 (1678 W. Palmer Pl) Dear Council and Mayor Jordan, 1 I am asking that you please vote to oppose the rezoning on item C.7: 2022-0695, Appeal RZN 22-029 (1678 W. Palmer Pl) The boundary line has to be drawn somewhere. Nettleship St. should be that marker. To keep encroaching parcel by parcel the traffic/parking/noise/trash etc… will make the neighborhood one big fraternity much less anything nice worth preserving. We already are dealing with excessive damaging stormwater run off that has never been experienced in the 21 years I’ve owned my home. Not to mention neighborhood streets that aren’t suitable and safe for the existing traffic and parking as is. Is development so short sighted as to destroy the older established neighborhoods with mature tree cover and replace them with razed ground tickytacky party pads? That doesn’t seem like smart sustainable growth to me. Please vote against this appeal to rezone 1678 W. Palmer Pl. Thank you for your time and commitment to our beautiful town.
