In an effort to keep you informed of Fleet's progress, the City was able to source twelve (12) 2023 Tahoes. The ordering window was 6 days in
2021 for MY 2022, and less than 24 hours in 2022 for MY 2023. This is happening across the industry, with other issues being: random order
cancellations, surcharges from manufacturer's for increases in material costs, and delayed builds based on material availability. The official
government price for each Tahoe was released and is $46,122.00 for each unit after incentive. The GM Fleet incentive is approximately 10%. The
various City departments involved were able to make an accurate projection for budget and a procurement plan for succesfully securing these
vehicles.
