Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. I am not in favor of this rezoning and live nearby in Brookbury subdivision. I am not sure how the city council can approve this if the developer can not assure us what his plans are. Regardless, the city council should not approve a project that varies so greatly from the surrounding single family residential area. The council is supposed to be a voice for the citizens and this makes no sense for the citizens surrounding this area. Please do not approve this as it would negatively affect the property owners in this area. Rick Upton 2882 N. Deaver Circle From: Brookbury Neighborhood <brookburyneighborhood@gmail.com> Sent: Monday, August 1, 2022 8:50 PM To: Subject: Rezoning of 3061 Skillern Road Robert Rhodes reached out and had a conversation with Mr Bearden. Mr Rhodes has asked the council to deny Mr Bearden's RZN request. Please read... This evening I talked with the developer from Fort Smith, Mr. Bearden, pleading with him to offer a Bill of Assurance to limit the density of his RSF-4 by any little bit on behalf of his future neighbors measuring over 100 homes ( Brookbury by itself has 97) in order to assuage their concerns over traffic safety, flooding, lack of connectivity (12 lots in a cul de sac), general incompatibility, etc. He kept on saying that he publically said all he was going to say. Finally, I asked to give me a yes or no to our request and he wouldn’t… just that publically he said all he was going to say. I can only presume that his careful use of the words I “intend’ to just have two homes there is to give him room to change his intentions or sell it to someone who maxes out the density. Please deny his RZN request. Thx RKR 2
