Dear City Clerk,
In regard to the conversation Robert Rhodes had with Mr. Bearden (see below) and as residents of Brookbury,
we also ask the council to deny Mr. Bearden's RZN request. The concerns are valid. Please deny his RZN request.
Thank you,
Richard & Kim Kendrick
Robert Rhodes reached out and had a conversation with Mr Bearden. Mr Rhodes has asked the
council to deny Mr Bearden's RZN request. Please read...
This evening I talked with the developer from Fort Smith, Mr. Bearden, pleading with him to offer a Bill of Assurance to
limit the density of his RSF-4 by any little bit on behalf of his future neighbors measuring over 100 homes ( Brookbury by
itself has 97) in order to assuage their concerns over traffic safety, flooding, lack of connectivity (12 lots in a cul de sac),
general incompatibility, etc. He kept on saying that he publically said all he was going to say. Finally, I asked to give me a
yes or no to our request and he wouldn’t… just that publically he said all he was going to say. I can only presume that
his careful use of the words I “intend’ to just have two homes there is to give him room to change his intentions or sell it
to someone who maxes out the density. Please deny his RZN request. Thx RKR
