Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Good afternoon, I am emailing today to express my support of the city ordinance that will ban the sale of dogs and cats in retail establishments. There is a large number of animals that must be euthanized daily because shelters are at max capacity. If retail establishments are going to sell dogs and cats, it’s imperative that they work through a shelter or rescue group to help get the crowded shelters to a more sustainable place. Aside from that, we must do our part in stopping puppy mills. The health and well-being of animals needs to be at the top of our minds. This is often overlooked in puppy mills which are the primary source for retail puppy sales. I am proud to be a Fayetteville citizen and to call Fayetteville home for over 30 years because Fayetteville does the right thing. In this case, the right thing is to ban the retail sale of dogs and cats. I fully support this ordinance. Your Neighbor, Ashlee Terrill 2
