Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
October 15, 2020
A meeting of the Fayetteville Policemen's Pension and Relief Fund Board of Trustees was held
on October 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. via teleconference in Room 326 of the City Administration
Building located at 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mayor Jordan called the meeting to order.
Board Members Present: John Brown, Ruston Cole, Eldon Roberts, Melvin Stanley, and
Mayor Jordan.
• Staff and Others Present: City Attorney Kit Williams, Finance Director Paul Becker,
Atkins, and Kerry Watkins-Bradley with Garrison Financial. Glenn
Absent: City Clerk Kara Paxton and Frank Johnson
Garrison Financial:
Quarterly Reports ending June 30,2020 and March 31,2020
Kerry Watkins Garrison Financial gave a brief report of the quarterly reports.
Glenn Atkins Garrison Financial gave a brief report.
Minutes:
Approval of the April 16,2020 meeting minutes
Ruston Cole moved to approve the April 16,2020 meeting minutes. Eldon Roberts seconded
the motion. The motion passed 5-0. John Brown, Ruston Cole, Melvin Stanley, Eldon
Roberts, and Mayor Jordan voted yes. City Clerk Kara Paxton and Frank Johnson were
• absent.

Pension List Changes:
Bernice Hutchens deceased May 02,2020
Approval of the Pension List:
Approval of the revised June, July, August, September, October 2020 pension lists.
Approval ofthe November, December 2020 and January, February, March and April 202 I pension
lists.
Lisa Branson stated due to Mrs. Hutchens deceasing in May the pension lists for June, July,
August, September and October 2020 need to be re-approved.
John Brown moved to approve the June, July, August, September, October 2020 revised
Pension Lists. Eldon Roberts seconded the motion. The motion passed 5-0. John Brown,
Ruston Cole,Melvin Stanley,Eldon Roberts,and Mayor Jordan voted yes. City Clerk Kara
Paxton and Frank Johnson were absent.
Melvin Stanley moved to approve the November, December 2020 and January, February,
411 March and April 2021 Pension Lists. John Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed
5-0. John Brown, Ruston Cole, Melvin Stanley, Eldon Roberts, and Mayor Jordan voted
yes. City Clerk Kara Paxton and Frank Johnson were absent.
New Business:
Revenue Expense Summary 06/30/2020 & 08/31/2020
Lisa Branson stated a copy of the revenue expense reports will be emailed to the board members
along with the quarterly report ending September 30, 2020 from Garrison Financial.
