Chadick Public: S. M. Our mission is to strengthen our community and empower our citizens through free and public access to knowledge. Call to order: B. Park called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM. New business A. Benefits for 2022: The City of Fayetteville recently passed a 6% health care premium increase for staff. As a participant in the City's benefits, FPL decided to split the premium increase 50/50 between the library and staff members. J. Parry approved the benefits cost -share proposal for 2022. B. Bagwell seconded. All voted AYE. The motion passed. B. New FTE's for Kitchen Staff and Center for Innovation: Four new FTEs are needed: three would work in the FPL kitchen/deli/food service, and are paid for by the approved 2021 Budget; one Fabrication & Robotics Lab Coordinator in the Center for Innovation would be funded by a grant. Food production plans to be self -sustainable, with composting efforts accomplished in conjunction with Food Loops. The Deli projects a soft opening on October 4, 2021. B. Bagwell approved the FTE increase. J. Parry seconded. All voted AYE. The motion passed. C. New Bank Account for Food Services: This bank account would segregate the food service, deli, and catering from the library's existing financial accounts. J. Parry moved that the separate account for food service be created. M. Sutherland seconded. All voted AYE. The motion passed. D. New Fayetteville Public Library Foundation Board Members: J. Parry moved to confirm the nominations of Joel Thornton, Cassandra Green, Kerri McMahon, Katie Milligan, Matthew Wolfe, and Martha Anderson to the Foundation Board, and accepted the new slate of officers. Public Comment: FPL will host a pop-up library in conjunction with Crystal Bridges at the Saint James Baptist Church on Friday afternoon. M. Rice spoke about the Gathering of the Groups that same day. National Book Award winner Nate Powell will speak about his graphic novel March. Adjournment: S. Overbey moved that the meeting adjourn. J.
