Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby awards Bid #
21-31 and approves the purchase of four Harley-Davidson FLHTP Motorcycles from Pig Trail
Harley-Davidson of Rogers in the total amount of $104,676.96, for use by the Police Department.

SUBJECT: Purchase of Four Motorcycles for the Police Department
RECOMMENDATION:
Council awards Bid 21-31 to Pig Trail Harley Davidson for the purchase of four Harley FLHTP
Motorcycles in the amount of $104,676.96.
BACKGROUND:
Units 1286, 1287 and 1288 are all 2015 Harley FLHTP Motorcycles with 15/15 points and they
have exceeded their life expectancies. Unit 1309 is a 2016 Harley FLHTP Motorcycle with
13.6/15 points and will move to the spare position as 1309U as a backup.
DISCUSSION:
Through Bid 21-31 four Harley FLHTP Motorcycles can be awarded to the lowest eligible bidder,
Pig Trail Harley Davidson of Rogers, AR in the amount of $26,169.24 each, for a total of
$104, 676.96.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for each individual purchase.
This item was approved at the May 11th, 2021 Equipment Committee meeting.
