BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a budget
adjustment, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution, in the amount of $3,813.00 recognizing
donations from Friends of YRCC to fund 2021 spring semester programs offered at the Yvonne
Richardson Community Center.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby expresses its sincere
appreciation to Friends of YRCC for the donation.

SUBJECT: Request for approval of a Budget Adjustment in the amount of $3,813
recognizing and allocating donation revenue from Friends of YRCC to be used for the
spring semester programs offered by the Yvonne Richardson Community Center in 2021.
RECOMMENDATION:
Parks and Recreation staff recommends approval of a Budget Adjustment in the amount of
$3,813 recognizing and allocating donation revenue from Friends of YRCC to be used for the
spring semester Kids Nite, spring break camp, and Homeschool P.E. programs offered at the
Yvonne Richardson Community Center (YRCC).
BACKGROUND:
Friends of YRCC is a non-profit focused on supporting this mission of the YRCC by raising
funds which allow the YRCC to offer inexpensive and/or free programming that aims to serve
extremely low/very low-income families. This donation is to cover expenses for youth to
participate in the spring semester activities such as Homeschool P.E., Virtual Kids Nite, and
Spring Break Camp.
DISCUSSION:
Friends of YRCC continues to offer funding support to the YRCC programs, allowing for
participation to take place at little to no cost to families of the Fayetteville community.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Recognize YRCC Donations in the amount of $3,813 for 2021 spring programming offered by
YRCC.
