BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves the purchase of
eight Hustler Super Z mowers from Williams Tractor, Inc. in the total amount of $78,000.00, plus any
applicable sales taxes and freight charges, pursuant to a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract.

RECOMMENDATION:
Council approves the purchase of eight (8) Hustler Super Z mowers for Parks and Recreation
with Sourcewell Contract 062117-HTE pricing in the total amount of $78,000.00 through
Williams Tractor.
BACKGROUND:
Units 5068, 5069, 5074, 5075, 5076, 5077, 5078 and 5079 are all either 2016 or 2017
Hustler Super Z Mowers that have exceeded their life expectancies.
DISCUSSION:
Seven new Hustler Super Z mowers with 60" decks and side discharge systems are
available for $9,738.00 each, and one Hustler Super Z Mower with 60" rear discharge
deck is available for $9,834.00, off the Sourcewell contract. The total combined price of
all eight mowers is $78,000.00 available through Williams Tractor, of Fayetteville, AR.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Fund for this purchase have been collected and budgeted.
Each item was approved at the January 12, 2021 Equipment Committee meeting.
