The expense for the run-off election has been paid in full. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: Funds are available in the 2020 budget for the November 3'd General Election. According to the statute, each city's amount is calculated by taking 50% of the election cost and multiplying that by a fraction based on the number of ballots cast divided by the number of ballots cast in the city. The number of ballots cast in the city elections was 74,904. Washington County received an Elections COVID Response Grant from the Center for Technology and Civic Life.
