BACKGROUND: This vendor supplies many of the items used to upfit the City's Police vehicles. The City of Fayetteville is able to purchase directly from the manufacturer, Jotto. If the City were to go to bid, Jotto itself would not send in a bid as it would be competing against their own dealers. DISCUSSION: For this reason, a bid waiver is requested for purchases made from Jotto. Fleet requests the approval of a bid waiver allowing purchase through Jotto.
