Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves the purchase of a
Elgin Crosswind Street Sweeper from Environmental Products Group of Memphis, Tennessee in the
amount of $266,434.39, pursuant to a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract, for use by the
Transportation Department.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to approve the purchase of a new Elgin Crosswind Street Sweeper
available for the Sourcewell price of $266,434.39 through Environmental Products
Group for the Transportation Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 9183 is a 2013 International Elgin Sweeper that has had several maintenance
issues this year and has 15/15 points.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of the new Elgin Crosswind Street Sweeper available
for the Sourcewell price of $266,434.39 through Environmental Products Group of
Memphis, TN for the Transportation Department.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for this purchase.
This purchase was approved at the December 31, 2019 Equipment Committee.
