BACKGROUND: Parks was approved for a new expansion position. This position will require a vehicle that is capable of hauling mowers and other items needed for the Parks Maintenance Division. Unit 2115 is a 2007 Ford F-250 with 14.8/15 points and has exceeded its life expectancy. Unit 2136 is a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado with 14.9/15 points and has exceeded its life expectancy. DISCUSSION: Fleet recommends the purchase of a Ford F-250 Crew Cab for $27,829.00; a Ford F- 250 Crew Cab 4x4 for $30,135.00; and a Ford F-250 Standard Cab for $24,734.00, for a total State Contract price of $82,698.00 all available through Lewis Ford of Fayetteville, AR for the Parks and Water & Sewer Departments.
