BEIT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves the purchase of a
Doosan Air Compressor from Hugg & Hall of Springdale in the total amount of $22,420.00, plus applicable
taxes and freight charges, for use by the Water and Sewer Operations Division.

SUBJECT: Purchase of an Air Compressor for Water & Sewer
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of a new Doosan air compressor available for the
Sourcewell purchase price of $22,420.00 plus applicable tax from Hugg & Hall out of
Springdale, AR.
BACKGROUND:
Water and Sewer currently owns unit 9011, a 2000 Ingersoll 185 air compressor. This
unit has served its life expectancy and is no longer functional.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of the Doosan air compressor from Hugg & Hall for the
Water & Sewer Department's use for $22,420.00.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for this purchase.
This purchase was approved at the November 12th Equipment Committee Meeting.
