Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby awards Bid #19-51 and
authorizes the purchase of a Clement All-Star Dump Trailer from Hilbilt Sales Corporation of Benton
for the total amount of $41,458.00 for use by the Wastewater Treatment Division.

CITY COUNCIL MEMO
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to approve the purchase of a new Clement All-Star Dump Trailer for the awarded
bid price of $41,458.00 from HilBilt Sales Corp. of Benton, AR for Wastewater.
BACKGROUND:
Bid 19-51 was approved for this purchase on 10/22/219 by Purchasing.
Wastewater currently owns unit 9165, a 2013 Clement Star -Lite Dump Trailer. This unit has
served its life expectancy and is suffering from major erosion issues due to being used for
hauling bio solids.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of the new Clement All-Star Dump Trailer from HilBilt Sales
Corp. of Benton, AR for the awarded bid price of $41,458.00 as the replacement for
Wastewater.
The purchase would be made through HilBilt Sales Corp., the second lowest bidder on Bid 19-
51, due to the lowest bidder being unable to provide a match to the specifications required for
this trailer.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for this purchase.
This purchase was approved at the November 12th Equipment Committee Meeting.
