BACKGROUND: Unit 2142 is a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 truck with 15/15 points that as exceeded its life expectancy. DISCUSSION: Fleet recommends the purchase of a new Dodge Ram 1500 to replace unit 2142 under the state contract price of $22,434.00. This unit was originally pushed to be replaced in 2020, however due to engine failure Water and Sewer requires this new unit. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: Sufficient funds were budgeted for this purchase This purchase was approved at the October 8th Equipment Committee Meeting.
