BACKGROUND: Resolution 149-19 was approved for this purchase on July 2, 2019, however the vendor for this Dodge Ram needs to be amended. The original resolution says Steve Landers of Siloam Springs. Steve Landers is not the vendor in Siloam Springs. Steve Landers had won the State contract; however, they are located in Little Rock. The City can use local vendors if they will match the contract price. Superior Chevrolet is our local vendor and they have agreed to the contract price. DISCUSSION: Fleet recommends the amendment of resolution 149-19 for the purchase of a Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 truck for the state contract price of $22,993.00 through Superior Chevrolet of Siloam Springs, AR for use by the Water & Sewer department. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for this purchase. This purchase was approved at the June 11th Equipment Committee Meeting.
