NISSAN OF LITTLE ROCK IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,500, PURSUANT TO A STATE
PROCUREMENT CONTRACT, FOR USE BY THE PLANNING DIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby authorizes the
purchase of a Nissan Leaf from McLarty Nissan of Little Rock in the amount of $25,500.00, pursuant
to a state procurement contract, for use by the Planning Division.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of a fully electric Nissan Leaf available off the State Contract
in the amount of $25,500.00 through McLarty Nissan of Little Rock, AR for use by the Planning
Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 1124 is a 2005 Ford Taurus with 15/15 points and has exceeded its life expectancy.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of a fully electric Nissan Leaf available off the State Contract in
the amount of $25,500.00 through McLarty Nissan of Little Rock, AR for use by the Planning
Department.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: I
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for this purchase.
This item was approved at the April 9, 2019 Equipment Committee.
