BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves the purchase of a
New Holland 450 Round Baler from Williams Tractor of Fayetteville, AR in the amount of $32,900.00 plus
applicable taxes, pursuant to Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract #021815, for use by the Utilities
Department.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one Round Baler for Wastewater Department
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of a New Holland 450 Round Baler is available for the
Sourcewell contract price of $32,900.00 through Williams Tractor of Fayetteville, AR for use by
the Wastewater Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 5037 is a 2012 New Holland Round Baler that has exceeded its life expectancy. As a piece
of farm equipment this item does not have a meter on it and does not acquire points like a
vehicle would.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of a New Holland 450 Round Baler available for the
Sourcewell contract price of $32,900.00 through Williams Tractor of Fayetteville, AR for use by
the Wastewater Department.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted for these purchases.
This item was approved at the February 12, 2019 Equipment Committee.
