BACKGROUND: Unit 5053 is a 2014 Hustler Super Z with 15/15 points and has exceeded its life expectancy. Unit 5062 is a 2015 Hustler Super Z with 14.5/15 points. Two expansion mowers are needed for Transportation's Right of Way crew because they have taken on mowing around the State Highway's medians and rights of way to ensure visibility and safety of Fayetteville citizens. DISCUSSION: Fleet recommends the purchase of four Kubota ZD 1211 R Mowers with Rear Discharge available for the Sourcewell price of $13,014.88 each, for a total of $52,059.52 through Springdale Tractor of Springdale, AR for use by the Transportation and Airport. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: Sufficient funds have been budgeted for these purchases. This item was approved at the February 12, 2019 Equipment Committee.
