A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF TWO CHEVROLET TRAVERSES FROM
SUPERIOR DODGE RAM OF SILOAM SPRINGS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF
$50,602.00, PURSUANT TO A STATE PROCUREMENT CONTRACT, FOR USE BY THE
ENGINEERING AND BUILDING SAFETY DIVISIONS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: -
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves the purchase of
two Chevrolet Traverses from Superior Dodge Ram of Siloam Springs in the total amount of
$50,602.00, pursuant to a state procurement contract, for use by the Engineering and Building Safety_
Divisions.

SUBJECT: Purchase of 2 SUVs for the Engineering and Building Safety Departments
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of two Chevy Traverses for a total of $50,602.00 through
Superior Dodge Ram of Siloam Springs, AR for use by the Engineering and Building Safety
Departments.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 1128 is a 2005 Honda Element with 13.3/15 points and has exceeded its life expectancy.
Unit 2073 is a 2005 Ford Ranger 4x4 with 15/15 points and has exceeded its life expectancy.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of two Chevy Traverses for a total of $50,602.00 through
Superior Dodge Ram of Siloam Springs, AR for use by the Engineering and Building Safety
Departments.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for these purchases.
