SUPERIOR AUTOMOTIVE:

AUTOMOTIVE OF SILOAM SPRINGS IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,727.00, PURSUANT TO A STATE
PROCUREMENT CONTRACT, FOR USE BY THE COMMUNITY RESOURCES DIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves the purchase of a
Dodge Durango from Superior Automotive of Siloam Springs in the amount of $25,727.00, pursuant to
a state procurement contract, for use by the Community Resources Division.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one SUV for the Community Resources Department
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of a Dodge Durango available for the state contract price
through Superior Automotive of Siloam Springs, AR in the amount of $25,727.00, for use by the
Community Resource Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 2077 is a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 14.1/15 points and has exceeded its life
expectancy. It has been determined that the use of this vehicle has changed, and an SUV
would better benefit them.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of a Dodge Durango available for the state contract price
through Superior Automotive of Siloam Springs, AR in the amount of $25,727.00, for use by the
Community Resource Department.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for this purchase.
