OFF STREET PARKING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1:
A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT OR REAPPOINT THE FOLLOWING OWNERS OF PROPERTY
WITHIN THE OFF-STREET PARKING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF FAYETTEVILLE AS
COMMISSIONERS ON THE OFF-STREET PARKING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BOARD: GREG
LEE, EVELYN E. BROOKS, GEORGE NIBLOCK, JR., DON STROESSNER AND CHRIS BARIBEAU
WHEREAS, vacancies have arisen on the Board of the Off- S t r e e t Parking Improvement District
No. 1 of Fayetteville that need to be filed by the Fayetteville City Council; and
WHEREAS, attached as exhibits to this Resolution are five Petitions for Appointment as a Commissioner
of the Off- S t r e e t Parking Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Board of
Improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves of all the Petitions
for Appointment as a Commissioner of the Off -Street Parking Improvement District No. 1 of the City
of Fayetteville, Arkansas Board of Improvement and hereby appoints Greg Lee, Evelyn E. Brooks,
George Niblock, Jr., Don Stroessner and Chris Baribeau as Commissioners on the Board of said
Improvement District.

RE: Off Street Parking Improvement District Commissioners
The Off Street Parking Improvement District was instrumental in
acquiring land and constructing needed parking lots near the Square to
ensure adequate customer and employee parking for our downtown
businesses. These parking lots helped ensure our downtown would remain
vibrant and desirable for the maiiy businesses near the Square. Our
wonderful Farmers' Market has also benefited dramatically because of the
available, nearby parking lots acquired and owned by the Off Street Parking
Improvement District.
For many, many years, the City has operated these parking lots
pursuant to agreements with the District that benefited the District, the City
and our Citizens. This District Board needs to have some of its existing
commissioners reappointed and new commissioners appointed to reach
their authorized five landowners authorization.
It is sometimes difficult to recruit commissioners for such an
improvement district who must be landowners within the district. I would
like to thank Lamar Petus, Greg Lee and Evelyn Brooks for their work to
recruit new commissioners so this board can get back to full strength.

Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated Section 14-88-303, the below
signed Commissioners on the Board of Improvement of the Off Street Parking
Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, petition the City
Council of the City of Fayetteville to appoint for a three (3) year term Greg Lee to
the Board of Improvement. Greg Lee is currently serving as a Commissioner on
the Board of Improvement and owns an interest in real property within the
District.
