Update on Damage Claims
3395 W. Mount Comfort Road. On January 10th, a 12 -inch water line split, causing a
large rush of water which caused extensive damage to outside areas around the
Pathway Baptist Church, including the parking lot, landscape, retention ponds, and an
air conditioning unit. The claimed cost is $11,854.50, and is a legitimate claim.The City is
currently waiting to see what the claimant's insurance will pay.
STAFF REQUESTS THIS BE FORWARDED TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR
CONSIDERATION FOR APPROVAL
1168 Oaks Manor Drive. On February 26, 2018, a water leak on a 6 -inch main flooded
the home at 1168 Oaks Manor Drive. The amount claimed is $14,518.19, and it is a
legitimate claim.

1010 N. Eastwood Drive. On January 12th, a 6 -inch water leak resulted in water entering
the basement of this vacant home at 1010 Eastwood Drive. Approximately 3 inches of
water resulted in damage. We are currently waiting on the cost of actual damages. The
owner is from out of state. This is a legitimate claim.
2805 N Sheryl Ave. On February 26, 2008 a water leak on a 6 -inch line resulted in water
damage to carpeting and drywall in the basement. The claimed amount is $2,247.26,
and is legitimate.
2365 W. Eiffel Crossing. A water leak occurred around the dates of January 25 — 31,
where a service caused the claimant's yard to become saturated. Extremely cold
temperatures froze the water, causing cracks in the sidewalk. This claim is legitimate,
and the claimant is currently obtaining bids.
2. Pump Rebuild Kit for the Hamestring Lift Station
Discussion surrounding the need for the rebuild kit.
