BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves the purchase of
a 2018 New Holland RB450 4x5 Dry Hay Baler from Williams Tractor of Fayetteville in the total amount
of $30,241.00, pursuant to a National Joint Powers Alliance cooperative purchasing contract, for use by the
Wastewater Treatment Division.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one Hay Baler for Wastewater Department
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of a 2018 New Holland RB450 45 Dry Hay Baler from
Williams Tractor, Inc of Fayetteville, Arkansas in the amount of $30,241.00, pursuant to the
NJPA Contract, for use by the Wastewater Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 5032 is a 2012 New Holland Hay Baler and has met the 6 year life expectancy. This type
of equipment does not accumulate points as it does not have a mileage or hour meter.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of a 2018 New Holland RB450 45 Dry Hay Baler from
Williams Tractor, Inc of Fayetteville, Arkansas in the amount of $30,241.00, pursuant to the
NJPA Contract, for use by the Wastewater Department.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for this purchase.
This item was presented to the Equipment Committee on February 13, 2018.
