BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby awards Bid #17-63 and
authorizes the purchase of a Seca Sewer Jetter Truck from Henard Utility, Inc. of Searcy, Arkansas in
the amount of $217,575.00 for use by the Water and Sewer Operations Division.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one Sewer Jetter Truck for Water & Sewer
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of one Seca Sewer Jetter Truck for lowest Bid 17-63 price
of $217,575.00 available through Henard Utility Products, Inc. of Searcy, AR for use by the
Water & Sewer Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 9112 is a 2008 Freightliner M2106 Sewer Jetter Truck. This unit has exceeded its 8 year
life expectancy and near to the 8,000 hour expectancy.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of one Seca Sewer Jetter Truck for lowest Bid 17-63 price of
$217,575.00 available through Henard Utility Products, Inc. of Searcy, AR for use by the
Water & Sewer Department.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been collected and budgeted for this purchase.
This item was approved by the Equipment Committee on November 14, 2017.
