BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby awards Bid #17-58 and
authorizes the purchase of a Unicarriers PF50LP Forklift from Lift Truck Service Center, Inc. of
Springdale, Arkansas in the amount of $23,911.95 for use by the Wastewater Treatment Division.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of one Unicarriers PF50LP Forklift for lowest bid that met
specifications through Bid 17-58 in the amount of $23,911.95 available through Lift Truck
Service Center of Springdale, AR for use by the Wastewater Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 9034 is a 2002 Yale Forklift that is approaching 16 years old and no longer functions as
efficiently as it used to. It is also currently in need of its third wiring harness and is beginning
to have other signs of significant problems.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of one Unicarriers PF50LP Forklift for lowest bid that met
specifications through Bid 17-58 in the amount of $23,911.95 available through Lift Truck
Service Center of Springdale, AR for use by the Wastewater Department.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been collected and budgeted for this purchase
This item was approved by the Equipment Committee on November 14, 2017.
