PURSUANT TO A STATE PROCUREMENT CONTRACT, FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby authorizes the purchase of a
2018 Ford F150 Crew Cab 4x2 from Lewis Ford of Fayetteville, Arkansas in the amount of $24,581.00,
pursuant to a state procurement contract, for use by the Police Department.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Council approve the purchase of a 2018 Ford F150 Crew Cab 4x2 available for the state
contract price of $24,581.00 through Lewis Automotive Group of Fayetteville, AR for use in the
Police Department.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 2172 is a 2010 Ford F150 used to transport evidence back and forth from Little Rock. This
unit has exceeded its life expectancy.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of a 2018 Ford F150 Crew Cab 4x2 available for the state
contract price of $24,581.00 through Lewis Automotive Group of Fayetteville, AR
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been budgeted for this purchase.
This purchase was approved by the Equipment Committee on July 11, 2017
