TRAFFIC CALMING INSTALLATION:
A RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO INCLUDE FUNDING
IN THE 2018 BUDGET FOR ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC CALMING INSTALLATION WITHIN CITY
STREETS
WHEREAS, additional speed tables, intersection islands, street narrowing and other traffic calming
infrastructure should be installed in City streets to slow down vehicular traffic.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby expresses its intention to
include funding in the 2018 budget for additional traffic calming infrastructure to be installed within City
streets.
