Dennis Smith, Chairman of the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board, has called a board
meeting to be held on Friday, April 16, 1999, beginning at 2:30 PM. The meeting will be held in
the conference room of the Hall, Estill law offices on the third floor of the NationsBank Building.
The law offices are across the hall from the south elevator. The meeting has been scheduled for the
following purposes:
(1) Consider adoption of a resolution to provide for the appointment of a successor
trustee and for an effective date of the change of trustee for the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board's
$29,100,000 Variable Rate Demand Refunding Housing Revenue Bonds (Butterfield Trail Village
Project) Series 1997;

(2) Consider adoption of an inducement resolution to enable developers of a proposed
multi -family affordable housing apartment project on Wedington Road to apply to the Arkansas
Development Finance Authority for an allocation of tax exempt bonds under the state volume cap;
and,
(3) Consider an appointment to fill an existing vacancy on the board.
Enclosed is a packet submitted by the developer of the proposed apartment complex which
provides relevant information regarding the project. Should any board member have questions
regarding this proposal in advance of Friday's board meeting, the developer's representative, Mr.
Gibbs, may be contacted at the address, telephone number or fax number set out in the developer's
packet.
By copy of this letter I am requesting Fayetteville City Clerk Heather Woodruff to give the
notice required by the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act of the scheduled Public Facilities Board
meeting.
