I was asked to draft the enclosed Resolution by Alderman Justin Tennant to
express the City Council's support for the Seven Hills mission to assist our
homeless population. Enclosed is the proposed Resolution which Alderman
Tennant will probably seek to walk on to the December 20th meeting.
The City Council will have to suspend the rules by a two thirds vote (6
affirmative votes) to place this Resolution on the Agenda. Then the Resolution
would require five affirmative votes to pass.

Justin,
I believe you could get the City Council to agree to walk it on at the December 20' meeting
(by suspending the rules with a two thirds vote). I can send it out to whole City Council now if you want
to present it at the December 20th meeting.

Justin and Adella,
I believe that you asked that I draft a Resolution in Support of Seven Hills. I have
attached a possible Resolution that, if acceptable to you, could be walked on at our last
meeting of the year. It could also be presented in January, but I thought that the
Christmas season might generate more contributions.
