The motion carried.
ITEM # 3: Receiving of Reports:
A. Director's Report —provided by Johnny Roscoe, Airport Director:
• Airport Activity: Tower operations in June were 2,456— up almost 1K from May. This is largely due to
the American Yankee Association Conference. Fuel sales were also up almost 2K having sold 27,710 in
May. We are averaging just shy of 29K per month for the year so far, which is about where we want
to be.
• Hangar/Terminal Roof Rehab Update: Insurance arbitration is ongoing but it appears to be going well.
We hope to hear something final very soon.
• American Yankee Association (AYA) Convention: The AYA convention was held at Drake Field in June
and was a huge success. It directly contributed to increased tower operations and fuel sales, as well
as income and business for City of Fayetteville in general. We received rave reviews from attendees
and they expressed a strong desire to return again in the future for another convention.
Financial Report: Summer Fallen, Airport Financial Coordinator
• Total revenue so far for this year is $546,228.38 with expenditures at $482,662.56, which puts the
airport at a profit of $63,565.82.
C. T -hangar Report- provided by Dee McCoy, Administrative Assistant:
• The airport has seven (7) vacant T -Hangars, three (3) of these are currently being used for storage.
D. Museum Report - provided by Rick Bailey, Museum Board Director
• The museum was happy to have the American Yankee Association group here.
• Airport Days was last Saturday. Over 164 people attended and the museum cleared over $1,000.

A. Recognition of new board member, James Rankin

ITEM # 6: Other Business:
A. Items from the Airport Board:
• Bill Corley asked if the airport was getting drone requests. Johnny Roscoe said that there were some
calls, and that with controlled airports the tower was the one to have the contract with the
operator.
B. Items from the Public:
Ben Perea, Garver Engineering, informed the board that the grant application has been submitted to
the FAA for the Taxiway Lighting Rehabilitation Project. Once the grant offer is executed the Mayor
will then execute the contract with the lowest bidder of the project. There will be a six-week
submittal process to issue a notice for cure. The pre -construction meeting will follow that process.
