AGENDA
A. CRYSTAL DRIVE SPEED TABLE: Request for a speed table on Crystal Drive by
residents of Crystal Springs Subdivision. The City has a modular speed table that can
be installed in this location, at a cost of approximately $600 for materials. The Crystal
Springs Subdivision is prepared to pay the cost of the materials for this installation. A
summary of the study prepared for Crystal Drive, and for other traffic calming requests
in recent years, is attached.
B. MORNING MIST/HIDDEN CREEK INTERSECTION: Review of a proposed traffic
calming treatment at this intersection. This treatment could be used at other similar
intersections throughout the City and is presented as a prototype of a retrofit that could
be used in lieu of speed tables, 4 -way stops, and other traffic calming devices. The
cost for installing the striping and signage is estimated to be $3,500; full cost to add
the concrete island and new crosswalks is estimated to be $15,000420,000.
C. UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS PARKING LOT ALONG RAZORBACK ROAD:
Review of conditions of approval contained in Ordinance 5652 vacating City rights of
way on Brenda, Court, and Walton Streets, specifically the condition that there shall be
no access to Hotz Drive from the UA parking lot that has been constructed between
Center Street and Hotz Drive.
