This unit was put into service in April 2005 and has exceeded its 10 year life expectancy. The current unit does not have a dump body, however it will be much more functional and efficient for them to transport materials. The lowest bid that met all specifications from Bid 16-54 (items 2 and 4) is for a Ford F350 Crew Cab 4x4 with Davis Dump Body in the amount of$44,947.88 available through Lewis Ford Sales, Inc. of Fayetteville, AR. Sufficient funds have been budgeted for this purchase. The shortfall in collection is due to not budgeting for a dump body, however it should be made up with the sale of the old unit.
