SUBJECT: Purchase of one motorcycle for Police
RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council approve the purchase of one 2016 Harley Davidson FLHTP Motorcycle
available through Pig Trail Harley Davidson of Rogers, AR for the amount of $24,459.88, the
lowest price from bid 16-21.
BACKGROUND:
The Police Department will be hiring an additional motorcycle officer in 2016, this expansion unit
will be for that officer. This was approved with the 2016 budget to go along with the added
personnel.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of one 2016 Harley Davidson FLHTP Motorcycle available
through Pig Trail Harley Davidson of Rogers, AR for the amount of $24,459.88, the lowest price
from bid 16-21
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient funds were budgeted for this purchase.
This purchase was approved by the Equipment Committee on March 8, 2016.
